Saw my first deer of the year

Unfortunately the Lexus was in the way. (WARNING: Graphic picture of deer shaped pixels being mortally wounded below)

I stopped and made sure the driver was okay, which he was. JUST had the car fixed asn was on his way home. Thankfully it was driveable, radiator seemed untouched, not so thankful that at 220,000 miles its likely totaled.

Impact:

I saw the cars ahead braking, and knew there was a damn deer.... the GMC (Envoy XUV !!!) saw it first and braked first, the Lexus had no chance. After I stopped a second deer ran behind me across the road, past the carcass of their pal.

Last night in all of the driving I had to do, saw no deer. They’re never really gone out here, just crazier this time of year.

I did have to basically moose test the Magnum last night. A family of fucking racoons were in the lane, and, you know, lowered car problems. Sweet baby jesus that wasnt cool.

I’ve had them do all kinds of things over the past few weeks. Sometimes they dart out in the road, sometimes they stand just over a blind crest, sometimes they even walk across your lawn during daylight hours. Just be vigilant and don’t drive faster than you can see.

Shes got KW V2s, nice fat tires, and is tastefully lowered. The front tires were the only ones complaining.
